The Maharshi Rashtriya Ved Vidya Pratisthan (MSRVVP), Ujjain, is considering another school board integrating oral vedic traditions with modern disciplines, according to Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Mr Pradhan indicated this. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Institute of Open Schooling are the only two school boards in the federal government (NIOS).
However, the MSRVVP, Ujjain, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, has approved the establishment of a private board for blended education that includes both vedic and modern topics, according to him. Mr Pradhan responded, "MSRVVP, Ujjain is also considering putting up another board for oral vedic traditions with modern themes."
