Adding to the excitement, Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, gave a heartwarming shoutout to India’s beloved Punjabi pop star during their Abu Dhabi concert.
While performing on stage, Martin spotted a fan holding a sign with Diljit’s iconic catchphrase, “Punjabi aa gaye oye”. Reading it aloud to the crowd, the singer’s gesture delighted Indian fans in attendance. Martin responded with a warm, “We love you too,” creating a moment that quickly went viral.
Diljit’s team was quick to share the clip on Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Chris Martin says PUNJABI AA GAYE OYE...!!! Chris Martin reading Coldplay fan posters and flags is so wholesome.”
