Writer: Rekha Pal Rekha Pal

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that Delhi government will offer free coaching to students of its government schools for NEET and CUET exam preparation, benefiting approximately 1.6 lakh students.

On Thursday, the Directorate of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BIG—a collaborative initiative of NSDC International, the Ministry of Skills, and Physics Wallah Limited—at the Vidhan Sabha premises. The event was attended by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood.

From April 2 to May 2, students will receive six hours of online coaching daily, covering subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, general aptitude, and English. In total, they will have access to 180 hours of free online coaching.

The initiative is expected to help less privileged students who are unable to fulfil their academic aspirations due to financial constraints.

The programme will also provide PDF notes created for structured revision. Tests will be conducted to monitor students' progress. This will enable students to track their performance and improve upon it.
