The eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha concluded with Prime Minister Narendra Modi advising students on stress and time management. Unlike previous editions held in an auditorium, this year’s discussion took place at Sunder Nursery, Delhi. PM Modi engaged with 36 selected students from each state and union territory, answering their queries directly.

During the event, PM Modi shared insights on managing academic pressure, time management, goal setting, self-motivation, and overcoming failures. Using cricket as an analogy, he explained that just as a batsman focuses on the ball despite the stadium noise, students should concentrate on their studies instead of worrying about external pressures.

PM Modi emphasized that while everyone has the same 24 hours in a day, some use it wisely while others waste it. He advised students to plan their day by writing down tasks and to allocate more time to difficult subjects instead of only revising what they already know. He encouraged them to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

Discussing goal setting, PM Modi stressed the importance of self-motivation and realistic targets. He guided students to set small, achievable goals and celebrate their daily victories. He also urged them to find inspiration in everyday life by observing their surroundings.

PM Modi advised parents against comparing their children with others or treating them as models. Instead, he encouraged them to understand their children's aspirations, recognize their strengths, and support them in their journey. He cautioned against letting ego or social status interfere with their child’s growth and success.

Highlighting failure as a stepping stone, PM Modi pointed out that 30-40% of students in classes X and XII fail but eventually succeed after trying again. He reminded students that academic success and success in life are not the same and urged them to learn from their mistakes to improve themselves.

The discussion aimed to equip students with strategies to handle pressure, manage time effectively, set realistic goals, stay motivated, and learn from past experiences.
